Thanks to Stang for this quick rundown of the goals of this project.
Read on, if you don't see yer feature in this list, email me.
LL part
-------
1) Detect splits, merges, added servers just like LL does (done)
2) Allow the user to input which servers he can connect to. (DONE! 11/19/95)
3) Make it a "smart" looker as in resolve *.funet.fi to irc.funet.fi, or
*.texas.net
to irc.texas.net. Despite/Skuld for LiCe does this.
MCB part
--------
1) Add a collider in that will send collide bots to split servers (fed by ll
component)
Nicks should be add/deletable in a dialog box, with like an add/delete button
2) Make a way for a watcher bot to enter a channel, and watch the desired
nicks to be
collided, and when LL detects a split you can use, connect the MCB bots.
For instance, have a switch for "collide ops".
4) Possibly be able to save/load collide lists
5) Make a way to only send collide bots to *ONLY* servers you can connect to
(dont
waste time with like *.jp servers and such)... Despite/Skuld for LiCe
also does this.
5) Make the MCB bots use different usernames (i.e. no IDENTD) to prevent k-lines
Sumo part
---------
1) Possibly can use the same watcher bot as MCB does.
2) Connect the watcher bot to an unlagged server, connect a lag kill bot to
a lagged
server
3) Input the nicks/channel to be lag collided
4) Have the bot track the nicks, etc, on a nick change, change to that nick
on the
lageed server, and bam, collide. Also works on joins (just entering IRC).
Lemme know if you have any questions.. happy coding. :)
